An Overview of Coventry

The properties in Coventry are very diverse and full of fascinating history with houses and buildings which can date back to the 14th Century. There is also a collection of Medieval timber framed buildings that spread throughout the city. Most of the oldest buildings were destroyed in the Second World War and were restored or re-built in the 1950s/60s. The inner city has rich red brick terrace houses which were built in the 19th century. Coventry boomed with the textiles industry in the middle ages then became the centre of the British bicycle and later motor industry.

Coventry is now a rapidly growing and developing city with plenty of culture and a university which is one of the top in the country.
